Confucian Culture Research
We research the history and value of Korean Confucianism and promote it at home and abroad. We conduct academic research and seminars on Korean Confucian culture with the “International Chungcheong Confucianism Forum” at the center, and lead the popularization and globalization of Korean Confucian culture through exchanges and cooperation with institutions related to Korean Confucianism at home and abroad.
oInternational Chungcheong Confucianism Forum
The “International Chungcheong Confucianism Forum” is our center’s representative regular academic event that invites domestic and foreign experts to academically re-examine Chungcheong Confucianism for the continuous development of the Chungcheong Confucian culture and informs the public about the excellence and diversity of Chungcheong Confucianism.
oAcademic Research
We conduct academic research on Korean Confucian studies and ideology, rituals, figures, culture, and art, accumulate and distribute the research results.
oAcademic Seminar
We hold academic seminars on a regular basis to promote continuous development of Confucian culture in Korea, discover novel research topics, inform researchers and citizens of research results, and to help them understand Confucian culture.
