2nd Floor

The main building consists of three floors, and is an open space that combines contents such as experience, education, rest, and exhibition, focusing on Confucian culture. The first floor is a research and working space for employees including office, storage, and preservation processing room. The second floor consists of cultural space Solbium, special exhibition room, Cheongyeonsil, Daehakdang, and Eoulmaru. The third floor consists of Sohakdang, Nanummaru, Sarang, and outdoor sculptures.

  • It means a space where people with clear mind and kindness communicate. This is a space for VIP meetings, with round tables and chairs that can accommodate up to 18 people.
  • This is the information desk on the 2nd floor.
  • Solbium means we resemble the greenness of pine trees, developing new things as if new buds sprout after rain. Solbium consists of bookshelves, explaining Chungcheong Confucianism, and exhibition space that displays various artifacts. It is a complex cultural space with traditional Korean floors, rest areas using traditional muntin, bookshelves, and content exhibition spaces showing the identity of our center.
  • Special exhibitions with various themes are held on a regular basis, providing Confucianism content.
  • The name “Daegakdang” was named after the “Greater Learning” in the Four Books and Three Classics. It means a place to nurture great minds. It is a space for various events, seminars, and lectures. Depending on the purpose, you can freely change the layout and use it as a space for meetings or lectures.
  • It is a multi-purpose space, meaning that it is a space where events for various purposes harmonize.
